Project Brief & Overview

There are two main metrics in BluTV. Increasing annual subscription and content viewing time. Profiles allow people who live together in a single household to have their own personalized BluTV experience. As BluTV Product Team, we want to increase the viewing time of the content with personalized profile suggestions.

My Role

- Analyzing the needs and determining the strategy with the product team.
- The sole designer responsible for end-to-end UX / UI process.
- Completion of the project with the software developers.
- Follow up after publication.

Discover

I interviewed different groups of 16 users to understand and empathize with user needs. We have a test list of those who want to meet on BluTV. I wanted to interview these participants for 15 minutes. We also gave a 3-month BluTV coupon as a gift. I worked to better understand the BluTV user experiences. I asked questions before starting the project.  Do you share your BluTV account? Who do you share with? Do you use the watch list and watch where you left off feature?

Define

I defined the results of the user interviews in the define step. I analyzed the needs of the user and company team. There were two main groups, adults and children.
We discussed with the product team why the profile is needed, what customization features are needed, and the security step. I created benchmarks, user personas and comparative analysis.

Ideate

We held a meeting with the product team according to research and user needs. I started by creating general needs. Then we prioritized these needs with MVP. The product team smashed these things up and created the board in the Jira. During the working process, I made the designs with Figma. We concluded product team discussions with FigJam and Miro. We contacted with the Slack and GoogleMeet. We followed the works on Jira Confluence as the Developer, Product and Design teams.

Prototype

After the ideate step, I started the design with the sitemap. I made wireframe sketches. Then I started working on the designs to be able to test them. These prototypes can be shared and tested within the team itself, in other departments or on a small group of people outside the design team. By the end of the Prototype stage, the design team will have a better idea of the product’s limitations and the problems it faces. They’ll also have a clearer view of how real users would behave, think and feel when they interact with the end product.

• Wireframe

I started mobile first wireframe design. Then I worked for IOS, Android app, Desktop Web, SmartTV and AppleTV. After the wireframe was completed, we had another meeting with the developer and product team.

• Visual Design

As a team, we made pre-design decisions with Wireframe. I worked on Desktop, mobile, Android, IOS, SmartTV and AppleTV designs. Before transferring these designs to the developer team, I organized user testing on the prototype.

Test

I conducted remote testing with a total of 18 users. I did these tests with ''lookback.com''. I made edits before submitting the final design.
Testing was completed with a small group before sharing the profile feature to all users.
In the user test results, the needs of the users were listed. These needs are listed.

Bip Meet & Suit Conference

With the Corona period, the working system began to change. The need for online interviews has become much more necessary. We decided to make a fast video call experience under the Turkcell BiP messaging application.

HepsiEmlak Redesign

The posting period for the moderator is long and complex. Not to call real estate agents by phone. Long and complicated steps in finding property for the end user. These issues consist of approximately two stages, the end product, front-end users and the admin panel in the background. We are worked on this issue for the frontend user product.
